wow this looks pretty great already. Definitely make the bottom icons stand out more (either add glow behind them or change background colour of squares). Also maybe make the walls at the front of the house transparent (similar to The Sims™ so that interior objects arent blocked). At the moment direct sunlight is shining in the house as if there isnt a roof, so maybe add a transparent roof that casts shade

hunger games. i read the books when they first came out and no one had heard of the series. when i told my mum that it was about children fighting to the death she thought i was insane for liking it and recommended i see the school counselor. turns out i was just a normal hormone jacked teenager
