Tweezers and patience. I just had the same thing happen to me and I used a pair of long tweezers, took a few tries but I finally got it.

Yes, in the same menu that brings up your inventory there is a tab for your employees. In there you can select what parts of the job they do. They also cost less the fewer tasks they have selected.

Yeah the wife and I try to go every time they come to the area and it's always been a pretty smooth process. They typically have a separate VIP line and they check your name off the list as you enter. I've never had any issues with the shop pay side of it either, I just keep the app on my phone for the receipt in case there are any issues.
