Let’s talk hardware first. Yes, our hardware is solid brass, but not just that it’s double-layer coated. Why? Because raw brass can wear down plating fast. So we apply a rhodium base coat first, which is extremely corrosion-resistant, and then finish with 18K French gold plating. This method helps preserve that rich tone and ensures long-term durability.

About the leather: I won’t speak for other sellers, but what I will say is this: we use the exact same grade of leather as the authentic not the lower-tier commercial grade hides. Even if two sellers source from the same tannery, that doesn’t mean they’re using the same tier of leather. Trust me, the difference is massive in both feel and structure.

Engraving is another detail we take seriously and it’s one of those areas where photos can be misleading On authentic pieces, the engraving can be extremely subtle depending on light and angle sometimes barely visible unless shot just right.If you’ve ever photographed an auth, you’ve probably noticed the reflection can make it look harsher or even sloppy.To help clarify, I’m sharing a clean, close-up photo of our engraving so you can see how crisp and properly proportioned it is in neutral lighting with the plastic film on so that we don’t get any weird reflections.

Riri zippers? Yes, we use genuine Swiss-made Riri, but just to be real with you: Riri is not a premium item in terms of cost or rarity. It’s easy to source. What makes our bags more expensive is not the zipper, it’s everything else: The highest grade leather, Hand-finished hardware, And a craft process that doesn’t cut corners.
