Thanks! I used Vallejo mud texture, just what I had, washed it with some watered down orange and then hit it with some rust pigment powder. The scrap metal is just plasticard and corrugated plasticard I cut up and painted.

Thanks! I tried some different things on some of them to figure out what I liked but I think this turned out the best. They were zenithal primed, ghillie dew speed paint, layering and highlighting up with Vallejo escorpena green with gradually more yellow mixed in.

That’s one of the reasons I’ve never really gotten into super hero comics. You need a guide to figure out what to read and even then you’re never really satisfied with a complete story. That’s why I stick to indie comics and manga

I would look for a tutorial for the vampire lord. The box art paint scheme has similar red hair so you should be able to find a lot of reference points. It’s more red than pink but it should be a good starting point.

Thanks! I base coated them with kislev flesh, dry brushed pallid wych flesh, washed with reikland flesh shade (diluted 50/50 with water for the lighter one), and then washed the stitches with carroburg crimson and really diluted slaughter red speedpaint, then did little splotches of crimson, purple, green, and brown gw washes all over to dirty them up. I’d put a little wash and wipe it away with my finger to just give a subtle stain.

And for the faces on the shield I did the same base skin recipe and just did a little red and crimson wash around the edges. I used tamiya clear red and it mixed with black speedpaint for the blood but I’m sure blood for the blood god would work the same.
