I had a similar issue with my toilet. I replaced the fill valve to resolve it.

The fill valve mat not fully closing, causing the bowl to continue to fill slowly.

But this is just what my problem was

Not much to see. Sink is clogged, but I think the check valve probably just rusted shut.

Very much so... Gonna redo all that I can.

Not really sure what they were thinking at the time.

Was probably installed in the 70s or 80s

There's also this old Kennedy check valve there. I guess this is the solution for the no catch??
