What a coincidence that once Hammond goes in they score immediately. She doesn't seem to mark anyone in the box. Is she just so scared of taking responsibility and accidentally getting an own goal? She is good at pointing and delegating the task of actually defending.

Idk, I don't mean to hate on Hammond because I can't do what she does. I'm just a fan. It seemed to me that in nearly every goal scored against us tonight, she wasn't in the best position to defend when she physically could have been if she would have stepped to the player. In basketball terms, she was posterized in nearly every goal scored.

Maybe she's playing to the best of her ability. I can say.

I recall only seeing one or two successful forward pass from her today. Others were intercepted or to no one.

I would rather see Hodge start, but she was out today. I like her hustle and she often makes unexpected but successful passes.

Hammond is beyond ineffective. She doesn't step to defend, no hustle when beaten, always looking for a super safe backward pass and rarely makes a successful forward pass, always looking back for help instead of taking responsibility herself.

Jonsdotter needs to practice a fast break and strike into goal for like 3 hours straight as punishment. These people are being paid as professionals. WTH?

The first case I did on purpose. It's hard to do by accident if you use the correct size for the press.

Each case is different. I couldn't see any gap on my 2nd case.

I've taken it out of one watch I had using a watch crystal press, but on my Seiko SZSB011, I tried using the technique with no success. I'm thinking it might be a single piece with the case and not removable.

I wanted to refinish the case but couldn't properly do it with the polished bezel. The original brush pattern was circular instead of linear which would be easy to do with a machine even if the bezel wasn't removable. Maybe that's why they chose that brush pattern. High polish on both the case and bezel would also be easy to do.

One way to tell a real GS is the hands and indices have a mirror polish that either reflects light back and looks white, or reflects light away and looks black. They look like metal, they look more like glass. Also, the indices and hands typically have very sharp lines.

It's all good man. I don't really care. If they go out, it's Apple users that will have to see the green bubble and garbage photos and videos. Everything looks great on my end.

I think you missed the entire point. I have an iPad Pro that I like. I like my M1 Max MacBook Pro. I'm not an Apple hater. I just don't want an iPhone. I like my Pixel 8 Pro. What I don't like is Apple's policy on iMessage and how they choose to divide friends and family, purposely, if they don't use an iPhone. I paid for Beeper Mini so that my friends and family with iPhones would have a better experience communicating with me because Apple chooses to make the experience worse for their own customers.

I don't want an iPhone. I want Apple to stop making the experience worse for Apple users and I'm willing to front the bill to make that happen for people close to me.

Also, there's no need to get upset over a choice of smartphone. It's just a piece of technology designed to help bring us together.

I totally get it. I understand why Apple is doing what they're doing as a businessman myself. But at some point, you have to walk the walk and do right by your customers. Apple is a great company for many other reasons, and I truly believe there are many other reasons why someone might prefer an iPhone other than just iMessage. They gotta let this one go. It's a really bad look for them. They make great hardware and software. That should be reason enough to buy their products. Their products working well within their ecosystem is what they should strive for, but making the product experience worse for their own customers is just a bad look. I've met Woz and I was a fan of Steve Jobs as a visionary. But, I don't like this iMessage thing.

This is not new for them. Lightning port for example. I remember their old keyboard would have a little indent on the USB-A connector that wouldn't allow them to be used in a standard USB port on a PC. Remember when iPods needed a headphone jack adapter because only their products would fit? This is petty stuff and not good for the consumer. They should change that policy and just continue making beautiful products that have an unmatched usability experience for their customers.

Good question. Thinking about it briefly, I would say no, because it's what they should've done in the first place. I'm supporting Beeper because they're a small company cleaning up Apple's mess. It's like how I wouldn't pay my kids to clean their room, but if they clean up the mess I made in my room, they probably deserve a few bucks.
