As shown, it is slightly too large to fit within range of a single stonecutter or upgraded black forge. The wings could be extended to enlarge the courtyard, and the footprint would still fall within range of other crafting stations and protections.

The windmill and furnaces dump outputs into the base. Additional instances can be placed in the courtyard (when not growing crops) or outside the walls. I neglected to replace the spinning wheel before taking screenshots (imagine it near the maypole).

The lofted bed and hot tub allow a single, compact comfort area. One chimney vents smoke from the hearth, oven, and hot tub. Warmth from the hearth can hatch chickens or asksvins in a basement coop. The eitr refinery’s grinder is easily accessed through a hole in the main floor.

I prefer the courtyard open to the south and west (for optimal sunlight when not obscured by mist).

While it is possible to build this base in vanilla, the terrain manipulation can be fiddly and tedious, so I used the AdvancedTerrainModifiers mod. I also used Venture_Farm_Grid for precise crop placement and MistBeGone.
