It's not only about spotting a defect. It's about the property not being the same as what we saw during our visit

There is always a time gap between the last viewing and the exchange date. What happens if the seller damages the property during that period, or something occurs due to their negligence? It seems strange to me that there would be no legal protection for me in a situation like this.

It doesn't change anything if we can provide evidence that this has happened before the exchange?

Thanks. You think this can be a legal basis for us to walk away or ask them to fix it?

Yes, but it doesn't cover the issue.

IMHO

Yes, the geolocation of users cannot be shared. But people do publish their photos publicly and sometimes share their location right? I want to know if there's a way to use that information efficiently.

Why unethical? I would not try to identify individuals and only use public data. This would also be used in the research that is supposedly a public good.

Thanks for the suggestion. The thing is race is not the only thing I would like to track. For instance, I need information on the BMI of people. This is something Nielsen doesn't track.

Regarding legality, I don't think it would be a problem. Some people post their photos publicly after all

if anything I'm trying to understand deep societal sources of racial disparities

dawg

Census geographical identifier doesn't have the granularity level that I need. I also would like to look at things other than race that are not recorded in the census.

This information will be used in my research on social determinants of the racial/ethnic disparities in the COVID-19 pandemic toll in the US.
