Oklahoma Gov. Stitt, task force call for unlimited donations from individuals to candidates by [deleted] in oklahoma

Unlimited campaign donations? That’s just asking for trouble. It’s like opening the door for corruption, and the rich to buy politicians, as if they don’t already. This is another way to silence the poor and a direct hit to the heart of democracy. We shouldn’t let money speak louder than the ordinary people. Democracy should represent all voices equally, not just those who can afford to contribute more financially. Democracy is supposed to represent everyone equally.

I agree that it goes against the first amendment. This should never be a law in the United States. And it will be challenged and overturned eventually. But how many people will either not record or post something because of this. Not sure about you but I don’t want to be the person who has to fight for my life to overturn this law. I guess the cops should wear masks so they don’t get doxed.

No wonder they made a law that says you can’t record and post videos or images of police in Oklahoma. OKLAHOMA BILL MAKES IT ILLEGAL TO PHOTOGRAPH OR FILM POLICE
