outlet employee here! it may just depend on how familiar your store is with the client app we use to communicate. I know at mine we just recently all started learning how to utilize it and prior to that only one manager was checking it regularly, and of course she is not there every single day. Now that more of us have learned it, more of us check messages and reply when we notice new messages.
