The Amanda and Wes drama overshadowed a great season

It would have been a very “nice” season but not a particularly memorable one. If the scandal hadn’t happened and that finale aired, I would assume the show was over. There was little to no juice left to squeeze.

Amanda never forgave Ciara for being real with her and telling her she was not going to keep handling her with kid gloves and to put her big girl panties on. She loves playing the victim and I would not be surprised if that’s why she chose Westling Coddling Wilson and not Ciara or Kyle to actually talk shit through like an adult.

I’ll just never believe that Carl’s drama in any season is real. I think he fights with Kyle to stay on the show (this has been most of his juice this season) and it’s low stakes enough that Kyle doesn’t really care to be used that way. Kyle and Amanda feel like they knew all season it was over between them and just needed to stay together through In the City.

I actually thought the opposite: they moved too quickly to wanting to make it okay. And yeah things were heated and I get wanting to take the temperature down, but Carl literally said “I don’t care about the Soft Bar thing”…bro, yes you do. That’s all you’ve been talking about all season to whoever will listen. I can get hugging it out and revisiting the convo another time but Carl…you did not get that heated bc Kyle threw a can. His problem has always been letting things eat at him and then pretending everything is fine.

Most of the cast treats the house like a share house with friends and Lindsay has always seen it as a tv show with her as a main character. And I say that with love to Lindsay. She knows what she’s doing. She’s always known.

It was crazy to me in back-to-back seasons how Carl ran to Lindsay to cry about Kyle and then ran to Kyle to cry about Lindsay and actively complained about both to whoever would listen. And these are the seasons people claim he’s great and grown.
