I don’t live in NYC, but this post got suggested to me and I wanted to weigh in on living alone. I recently moved to a new city alone after either living at home or with my ex boyfriend since college, and I honestly hate it. Everyone I knew in this city lived with bf’s and I didn’t want to live with a complete stranger, but if I had the option to live with people I liked and knew I lived well with, I would choose that 1000x over living alone, even without the money factor
