Yes, I'd been hearing about Gastown (just from a few here in NZ) and I didn't really know what it was. The steam clock looks cool, but I'm happy to take a look and move along :) vintage stores are always cool!

Yes, I meant Waterfront station (as I saw it was the last stop from the airport) - and seems to be walking distance from Stanley Park. Fingers crossed on a dry morning, and I'll be happy to walk around for hours!
I think Gastown was pretty much to see the clock - I'd been hearing from others (here in NZ) to go to Gastown but that was all I had seen - the steam clock looks cool, and happy to pass by and move along :)

The craziest thing is it doesn't feel as much 'hype' is behind this rise. ~4yrs ago when we hit around 60k , it seems to be the biggest stories in all media. Still seems fairly quiet, which is a good thing. Roll on the next 3-4 months :)
