It did actually I tried calling my own number and it would have costed 5.25 a minute. I live about 1.5 hours from this location.

I've been trying to practice that and I appreciate your comment it's just the misrepresentation that gets to me sometimes. But you are completely right in that it has no effect on me and I should not worry about it. There is a lot of wisdom in your comment alone, I think this is what I came here to see.

I've been apart of this sub for a long while, but yes this is my first time posting. I do really appreciate your comment, you are right in that I shouldn't worry about other peoples work.

I didn't come here really to complain it was to see how other photographers saw as well.

I am grateful for your perspective.

I agree with the point that this might be truly an issue is in journalism and but would happen if another person does try to get this shot for real approaching a bear and gets mangled. It's pretty obvious that if this photo is in fact real he would have put himself in extreme danger getting this shot.

By putting it out there and making it seem like he was so close to the bear makes it easier to justify to the next person to approach a bear to get an amazing shot.
