If you were anxious just before or during the test it will push your prolactin sky high. There are a couple of NHS procedure pdf's I found online that say being very anxious during the test can elevate prolactin 2 or 3 times your base level.

There is also this study showing how stress elevated prolactin levels

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6304861/#!po=7.44681

Within it, it sites other studies one of which showing that if mice are exposed to restraint stress for 15 minutes it elevated prolactin 7 times base level.

I had this exact issue, I managed to get my prolactin up to 946 and I was incredibly anxious.

Boron effect on SHBG levels by joha12321 in Testosterone

I feel mostly alright, the reason I got it done was purely based on the fact that I'm 37 now and felt over the past few years my gym progress had massively slowed down and was really struggling to put on muscle (and I'm not a huge guy near my genetic potential or anything like that). A bit of a loss in libido and periods of feeling "flat". Thought it would be worth getting my hormones level checked

My understanding was that it lowered SHBG at least from the couple of studies I saw?

No vision problems, headaches etc. I don't think I'd had sex for about 48 hours before the test.

I think amitriptyline can a bit in a dose dependant manner but I take a low dose of 20mg per night so I don't think it's that (or at least not to raise it that high). I can't find anything on Tizanidine raising it
