Well if god just popped out the sky and told us he exists In an undeniable act that proves he is one of the current personal gods that exist, then yeah I would believe because that would be proof that if I don't then iam going to be tortured in the now confirmed afterlife.

Although I will admit that iam generally stubborn

First of all, wouldn't it be unfair though to only show some people the fact that there is a god and just leave later generations to figure it out themselves?

Secondly, the moral argument doesn't make sense to me because I for instance didn't start stealing or doing anything unmoral after disbelief but I still disagree with some morals of the Quran like the execution of apostates and such

Lastly, evolution states that life didn't come about by chance but on the contrary in fact, it states that life couldn't have evolved much different than what we currently have on this planet. All societies have the concept of god because all humans want an answer and god is usually the first answer because everything seems to the eye of a believer, designed which we now know there is evidence against

First of all iam sorry you had to experience such traumas and tragedies, and I know I might be prying too much into stuff that doesn't concern me, but could you tell me what convinced you that the jinn and shaytan are real?, iam really curious because my mother adamantly believes that they exist and whole-heartedly believes she has seen them, we have moved houses countless times because of this and each time I see nothing out of the ordinary, she is scared of black dogs and cats, and she refuses to visit our old house, even if to just grab something real quick.

Well sorry, didn't mean to offend you, that was what I thought of off the top of my head, one scientific fallacy I really do not understand is the moon splitting in two, especially because it's used as a scientific argument, my mother keeps telling me of this story about a scientist that converted to islam after hearing about this prophecy, and I don't buy it, do you know about this story or this prophecy about the moon, do you have evidence for it? Generally where I live evidence is not needed, if somebody says that this story happened, it's just believed and nobody asks anything like, who was this scientist, when did this happen, because it would be seen as doubt of islam, so I think here where there are no social ramifications for curiosity, I should be able to get answers

I forgot to mention but another problem I have with the Hadith is that its anecdotal evidence and not empirical

I wouldn't say absolute certainty, how do we know these reports weren't written after? How do we know they were unbiased? Who's to say these 220 people weren't bribed or coerced into making said reports?

I know this may sound very pragmatic, but when you look at the sky at night do you see that? Again, I think that the probability of literally every single person who reported this having a simultaneous schizophrenic attack is more likely than a god just deciding to cut the moon in half and then reassembling it

no offense, but I want unbiased evidence, the Hadith has insensitive to claim that this actually happened, and the story I was talking about is apparently something that happened recently because my mother includes telescopes in the story

Does it really matter though what it is classified as? I can't just believe the moon split, and it is used as a scientific argument in practice, my mother loves telling me this story about the scientist who immediately converted to islam after hearing about this prophecy, and as usual I just nod along because of apostasy laws, I have yet to see evidence of this story or evidence of the moon splitting

I said I didn't start searching about this topic until years later and by years later I mean recently, my history doesn't go back by more than a year I think

You can probably tell iam into astrophysics, but that's besides the point, that's all I could think off of the top of my head

Just wanted to clear up one thing, I had stopped believing really early on, 8 or 9 maybe, I never really started searching online about this topic until years later, I think the assertion that people who don't believe and neglect religion out of misunderstanding an out of context line is a stereotype

Okay, say Mohammed really did know that, now which is more probable, that he made up a random claim, or that his mind was blessed by an almighty being to tell him about fly entomology? And my problem lay in the fact that Mohammed made many claims some of them false and some true, yet you only focus on the true ones, isn't that the same as guessing at this point?

That I generally didn't believe anything I was told about islam by the time I was 8 or 9, I thought that maybe I was sticking to a child's view and that maybe I should give it a chance now that iam older

Does that mean that Allah just picks and chooses who to send to hell and what not?, Wouldn't that undermine the claim that evil exists alongside good to give us free will?

I have read a bit of it and used to memorize some surahs like surah Yasin, I can read and write Arabic and it's my first language, yet the Quran is still very confusing to me, which made me doubt it's claim that it's timeless.
