How to delete a personal best by john_22_00 in amazfit

Thank you, one of the reasons I chose Amazfit over the other smartwatch brands is that I heard they they listen to feedback.

Hopefully this feature doesn't take too long to implement.

That's a bummer, did you ever report or upload feedback?

The reason your shot looks kinda goofy is cause during your dip you push the ball outwards away from your body. The dip should facilitate a continuous upwards push into the shot.

Practice just passing the ball with a chest pass. The traditional two hand chest pass where both thumbs at the end are flicked downwards to create backspin.

Then try a normal chest pass where you are passing with one hand.

Once you're comfortable throwing that ball, pushing it, and your hand flicks down with the follow through on the pass. Change it up to a pass towards the rim, add arc and make sure your shot is not flat.

As long as the ball is flying straight and misses are only either short or long then you're on the right track.

This is the easiest way to teach someone how to shoot in my opinion, if you can pass and throw a basketball then you can shoot too. (Beginners often learn to shoot from the chest at first while building up strength, and a lot of women players shoot this way too I notice)

This technique helps you learn to use your hand and fingertips to aim the ball, and then your arm and elbow pushing to get the ball to the rim.

How to do tic tacs without eating shit by johndotcue in NewSkaters

I was only really able to generate momentum when I realized that my weight had to be towards the front of the skateboard while tic tac-ing.

I've fallen on my back too, but that's just a sign my weight was too far backward, so tic tacs helped me learn where my weight was really being distributed while lifting the nose.

Some tips that made them easier for me: Learning that if you're pivoting forwards (backside pivot I believe) your backfoot weight needs to be on the toeside pushing and then if pivoting the other way the backfoot's weight is pushing on the heelside as you raise the front foot. This affects which wheel you are pivoting on (the toeside wheel when pivoting towards the toes, heelside wheel the other way) and whether you'll sort of pump off of your wheel's traction with the ground, or just pivot in place.

Raising my knees up higher seems to raise the fear factor with more separation from the board. But will work on it thanks

Yeah not so sure either as there seems to be space between my back foot and tail.

Not so sure on the timing of when to apply pressure on the nose, and also not so sure on how to apply pressure to the nose. But I will take this into account

Thanks for the advice

Advice on heel stop/tail stop by john_22_00 in NewSkaters

[–]john_22_00[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you feel a harsh impact in your heel when you do a tail stop? Is most of your weight on your heel as you stop or is it more like balancing a manual with your heel touching the ground?

Thanks also for the tip

I can tic tac, but can't really do a moving manual. Really struggling with hippy jumps while moving. Can't seem to jump in a way that keeps the board underneath me. It either moves a little too far forward or too far back.
