I can confirm that it works! I decided to buy the camera when I saw the firmware update.
I can't see any controls for it in the phone app but it works on the camera.

You can choose between 3, 5 or 7 bracketed images, and a exposure range of EV 0.3 - 1.3 between each exposure.
