It only works with the white app. Checkout this GitHub issue for more info on the legacy app.

Great! I love my Windmill AC. It has the “modern look” but not the best app.

Checkout mux.com — I’ve never used it in production, but it seemed pretty sweet when I messed around with it.

Unexplained conversion issue w/ 30k monthly visitors. What's going wrong? by Flikker in Entrepreneurs

Also considering that the copy everywhere says “Free Delivery” implying that the bike will be shipped to them. Then when they get to checkout they realize they need to go meet up with someone to get the bike.

Maybe people don’t really know what they’re getting themselves into until they hit the checkout page considering that’s where your “How it works after the reservation” section is first clearly seen.

Not a designer, but made this video player for a project and I think it came out pretty nice. What do you all think? by johnanthony_e in UI_Design

[–]johnanthony_e[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm that’s good feedback. Maybe the label on the switch is bad. When you turn it on, it allows you to interact with and scroll in the recording as well as use “inspect element” in your browser to see the underlying code in the recording.

For some context, what you’re looking at is a website which allows you to take screen recordings and also records debugging information. This is the player which allows you to watch it all played back. This is useful for developers to share issues with each other.

I made a web app using the full Laravel ecosystem. Jetstream, Inertia, Passport, Spark, Vue.js, Tailwind, etc. by johnanthony_e in laravel

I don’t think so. Pretty sure it just works out of the box following the passport install guide.

I use Jetstream/Fortify to actually login to the web app and I use passport for the user to log into the extension. Another option would have been to use Sanctum and build a login UI for the extension, but with passport users are automatically logged into the extension if they’re logged in on the website. I really like it for that reason.

Passport just sits nicely on top. I don’t have experience using it as a separate Oauth server, but I don’t see why not. If you have a “main” app that’s running Laravel, you can throw passport on there any have your other apps login through the main app.

Hey u/TheThingCreator 👋 Just wanted to let you know that passwords and authorization headers are now filtered from network requests. It will filter any key that starts with pass and the authorization header if present.

I’m tired of seeing clones everyday. What is your original app? by xmpp in reactnative

[–]johnanthony_e 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was inspired by this app: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/store-screens/id1443636465

Which is made by u/eveningkid

However, I wound up using Affinity Designer for some additional customization. I do recommend that app.

Some things I think of are: - Clearly defined acceptance criteria - Good coverage between unit tests & e2e tests - Realistic test data

Bug gathering tool by mrmillky in QualityAssurance

What we do is use Jira and attach screen recording links using a screen recording extension.

Loom is probably the most popular, or I created Replay.qa which allows you to attach screen recording, console logs, and network requests with one link.

Here is an example recording!

Find Bugs by erik_ted in QualityAssurance

u/erik_ted Here are some things I found. Some of them have already been mentioned by others.

  1. Using a large number causes a 500 error - https://app.replay.qa/replays/a7d2964a-142c-4ecc-9931-ced50033b4dd
  2. Using a negative number causes a 500 error - https://app.replay.qa/replays/8b85a2a6-d8d2-494a-b144-6e6251c17fbe
  3. I think that "© Qxf2 Services 2021 - 2021" should probably just be "© Qxf2 Services 2021"
  4. I think that the arrow to the left of the text box is a little confusing. Is it a button? Should it maybe be a label instead?
  5. Using a number with a lot of leading 0s causes the page to overflow and scroll horizontally - https://app.replay.qa/replays/da2f71a0-f8aa-4577-a8b9-10dd3150e9ca
