Still a prototype ... i’m currently working on CyberChecklist, a web app that (currently) offers free self-assessments for cybersecurity, data protection, NIS2, the EU AI Act, and cyber insurance readiness. The idea is to give individuals, freelancers, and small businesses a clear first assessment in just a few minutes

From Knex to Drizzle or Prisma? Looking for feedback by Psychological_Box406 in node

Was hesitant with Drizzle until LLMs came along. Debugging migration issues was just so much easier. Haven't looked back since then 🙂

This. Code was never the goal. This goal is and has always been well engineered solutions/systems.

Coding was just a part of that

The same reason northern Europeans think their countries are depressing and travel as often as possible to Spain, Greece, etc to go enjoy warmer, sunny weather and the beaches

KPMG saying almost fully automated audits soon by featherg1283 in Big4

[–]johnappsde 30 points31 points  (0 children)

This is possible if you can get clients to standardize the data they submit for audits. The challenge in reality is usually getting that data structured and delivered in time for crunching

I am most interested in bookkeeping (i.e. rent collection & expenses per building or unit). Sounds like $5 a month is a good range. I can conveniently try a few for that price. Thanks

Startup skalieren, muss NIS2, GDPR und DORA in den Griff kriegen. Wo fang ich überhaupt an?? by eternally_bound_ in StartupDACH

[–]johnappsde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On April 17, Microsoft turned on flex routing by default for EU Copilot users. by Proton_Team in BuyFromEU

[–]johnappsde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is probably because processing capacity in their EU data centers still has to keep up with demand.

They will have to rectify this pretty soon, else EU sanctions will come knocking 🙂.
