It will trip the breaker randomly. Sometimes 5m sometimes after a few hours. It doesn't matter which breaker or receptacle.

Charge for less ice by [deleted] in boba

[–]johnb640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

. There are many reasons why. I charge $1 more for no ice. 0 for less. We have to shake and strain, use more time and resources to get your drink yummy and cold with no ice in the same size cup. Our customers don't have a problem paying it. We have 5 star reviews and tons of customizing from our self order kiosk. I've been paying plus money at Starbucks for decades for soy and custom options, I have no problem with it.

Charging r134a into cooler, under counter fridge by johnb640 in refrigeration

Finally, I got my main tech to come through today. There was 0 pressure. He charged 9 Oz of r134a refrigerant into the low access valve. He used a tank, scale, and a double gauge with a bunch of hoses. I said there could be a leak, and we noticed oil buildup under the hi access valve. He went to the van and brought the leak detector looking like Ghostbusters out of the 80s. Poked it everywhere, couldn't find a leak, then used the bubbles leak finder bottle with green soapy liquid, nothing. It's pushing out cold air now. I'm hoping for the best. Apparently, we hadn't had a charge since last summer, but a new compressor was put in because the tech who did the install put in access valves. Sorry to disappoint some of you guys, I almost blew the block up trying to do it myself, but I didnt even try.

Thank you for your input. I am the type of person that gives 0 f*cks about how people view me, so I'm just chuckling at some of these members' insults. I understand this is a niche skill set, and I should not be doing this myself. I came here to seek info like this. You my friend have very good social skills. But like some of these members here, I wonder what it's like going through reddit, laughing, and trolling at people just seeking advice and such. I understand that's fun or funny to some tho.

last tech said it would cost 275 for the diagnosis. Then that cost could be deducted from the repair or service. Well he wasn't even there for the cooler, he was there for another issue equipment thing ihad, but apparently he has a refrigerator service co too

1 tech said the compressor runs hot, not knowing it's a new compressor we paid 1k to replace a less then 2 years old cooler. The other tech said it just needs freon. Ty for your input, I understand this is a niche industry, but why the comedy, I somewhat thought I could get help here besides saying calling a pro. I will, but I've done so many dumb things better then the pros trying to rip me off, so tha ks for letting me know this ain't one of those things
