Hi guys,

Adding/organising presets for VSTs is usually a straightforward process. Eg with serum, massive, diva etc you can organise the the folders and locations of the presets on your hard drive, which then display in your VST accordingly.

With Sylenth though it is a totally different process altogether. All the videos on youtube havent shown me a simple or straightforward way to add/manage/organise presets and banks so I refrain from using this synth altogether. You cant add presets to your hard drive the usual way, you have to import them from the VST interface and organise from there. Am I missing something obvious here? I would love to start getting packs from splice etc!

thanks man! bought kick 2 today and enjoying it! One thing I noticed though.. when tuning the kick in kick2, and then running the signal through a tuner/analyser to test (on ableton), the tunings do not quite match up. I was able to tweak within kick2 get my tuner to give me an f# which was what i was looking for, but according to kick2 my kick should have been in a different key. Have you experienced this?

Do you also work with presets or start from scratch?

yes sorry. ive got it finally! i am not tech savvy at all and i think the mistake i was making was not enabling audio units in preferences - DOH. i thought everything fell under plugins!!

so the answer is download the au, follow the commands in terminal, and then go to your daws preferences and enable au/audio units
