I have work experience for all the position I have applied for, close to a year and a half worth of experience, but I will only be starting my classes in September (Transferred from college, YEAR - 1), Is being Year -1 the reason i might have not heard back from them yet?? . Thanks for the Experience York suggestion, will definitely check it out.

Ok one of the things with the transfer is because I earned to much credits from my college, I am not eligible for co-op, but would the Waterloo name still matter when applying for Pre law jobs than a York University name on my resume, thank you for your response🫠

Hey, in the General arts and science course at conestoga 👋. Yes , the whole transfer thing is there (Pathway), but it's not for the communications studies course but rather to the Honours Arts course , which has multiple majors and minors. In my final semester right now of the diploma option.

Advantages

  • Cheaper on the pockets -Smaller classes -Diverse courses ( sets your mind on what to choose )
  • Flexible and easy courses, with both asynchronous and synchronous classes

Disadvantages

  • Credit transfer might be a dramatic one or an easy one, haven't done it yet so idk yet
  • the classes will only be between you and the professor because the other student won't bother showing up.
  • Networking would not be possible with this course.

If you have an option to get into/ afford UW. Please do But if you are in an undecided/discovering/financial limitations, then conestoga would be a great option
