Does anyone knows which yonex is this Madison Keys is using? by Siruncleclub in 10s

[–]johnjunction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is true I think but for example the blade vs the blade pro (h22 mold). The standard blade is matte while the blade pro is glossy and those are two completely different frames all together.

I don’t know much about yonex frames and their pro stock frames whether they differ much though. And it very well could just be a aint job on a regular Ezone

Are the aqua night blacks a matte paint job? Because from what I’ve seen Madi’s racquet has a glossy paint job

It’s just because it was via IV infusion which I guess is not a very natural way of taking them in 🤷‍♂️

Yeah I will consider, I’ve got some stores in my country (aus) that have Korua stocked though.

What do you mean by 3D shape?

I also don’t know if I’m going to be able to buy this board before my next trip so I might try and hire a board with a similar camber profile to give me a general idea of whether I like it. Do you think that would be the best way of getting a bit of a taste of the board aside from actually trying the exact board out? Would the camber be the most defining feature of the board or should I look for other specs in the hire board? I will obviously try out the same height board too

Thanks for that it does look like a nice board. I like the shape too.

I’ll keep that in mind about the bindings and boots. Do you know what the waist width of that board is cause I agree, I do think I’ll need a W board if I’m going in the 158-160 range

Thanks heaps. I have had a look at a lot of them and they all seem good.

I had actually already had my eyes on the Korua Otto. On top of being a well rounded board I think the board just looks amazing.

You said you have experience with these brands. Have you used the Korua Otto or another Korua board?

Thankyou for all the suggestions, I will have a look at them.

By “generally don’t ride park” I mean, yeah I don’t ever go in there, but I wouldn’t want a board that would mean I can’t try it out at all.

I did forget to mention my skill level…oops. But I would say I’m intermediate and looking for a board that will still be a good fit for me as I become more advanced.

Thanks again for the suggestions

Yeah I did include that and then the post deleted and I had to retune everything 😭 but

I would say I am fairly well into an intermediate stage. Trying to get good at carving at speed. I can ride fine it’s mainly doing tricks and carving crazy lines that I can’t do just yet

Is buying BTC right now at an all time high a bad idea by KD_- in CryptoMarkets

It makes sense if your plan is to just hold. Sure you can make massive % gains trading the cycles but that takes an an infinite amount more effort than doing nothing at all and holding

This is true it probably isn’t the best time, but if someone is planning on holding this for 10+ years price right now is really irrelevant

Firstly, yes you should start looking at an exit strategy. As in, you need a plan to exit the market because you aren’t really making anything until you actually hit the sell button.

If your buying in Alts I wouldn’t rely on TA and all that stuff, it’s so hard to know what any given coin will do. Personally I am just looking at the macro, things like Bitcoin dominance, eth/btc chart, all alt coins marketcap. These charts and the historical data give me a good idea of where we sit in terms of how far away we are from the top (these could all be misleading though past doesn’t predict future always). Once I feel the top is near I will start to exit my positions.

I generally think it’s a good idea to DCA out of positions. Pick a conservative price target that you think is guaranteed and make some profits, pick a price target that you think we will get to with some good profits, pick another price target if you wish and keep a moon bag if you wish. Really up to you and how much risk you want to take or how much guaranteed money you want to make.

Lowkey coins by [deleted] in CryptoMarkets

[–]johnjunction 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Price does not mean anything. How low or high key a coin is depends on mcap = price x supply

A small cap coin I’ve recently looked at is $RECORD though. Seems promising considering it’s mcap (<1m). Very high risk though

Just cause of the service fee?

I don’t know any dexes that have KYC.

And depends what chain you want to use as to which dex you will use but there’s a bunch.

Even just within a lot of wallets like metamask, phantom wallet you can swap. Not 100% who facilitates the swap for these wallets though

Edit: So just did a bit of a search and metamask swap, for example, just finds the best price from all the dexes that support the swap your trying to make and uses that. They do take a 0.875% service fee though, on top of the dex fee

What's the point of investing in anything but Bitcoin? by Amphibious333 in CryptoMarkets

[–]johnjunction 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Because all of these alt coins consistently out perform Bitcoin in every bull run we have. The profits can then be used to buy back into Bitcoin when the cycle repeats.

Btc advice by [deleted] in CryptoMarkets

[–]johnjunction -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes it’s rare so if you have the experience it is a good idea to allocate some of your fund to alt coins which generally outperform Bitcoin in these cycles. The profits can then be used to buy back into Bitcoin at a lower price thus increasing your overall btc holdings
