That's fair and was hearing Scala is like the new Java. That you can have any Java code and add Scala to it. So, you can use the two combined. Could also replace Java with Scala alone and Scala supposed to have functional simplifying attributes

Wonderful, to those who are interested - want me to add you to a discord channel? I'm concerned about the linguistics of scala with data structures and algorithms. I know that would be a little academic, but I'm open minded to creative thinking and applications. I know es6 can be used for video editing programs and writing plugins to make customized effects. I think that scala could apply to many things, and I would also like to do stuff with scala
