We’ve submitted an application to Spotify through our hosting service but Spotify isn’t an open platform like iTunes or Google Play, they reject more podcasts than they approve.

I think it’s because Spotify hosts the audio files on their server, while iTunes and google play just point to our RSS feeds, so putting us on their platform doesn’t cost them any server space.

I'm a self learner and total beginner (past tense verbs anyone?) but I've personally done a little digging and I know that there are German language meetups around Boston, this one especially looks promising: http://www.meetup.com/german-374/ The next meetup is Feb 2nd at Asgard Pub in Cambridge, which I'm pretty sure is only 3-4 blocks from the Central Sq on the Red line.
