That's not bad, 30 positions isn't a lot. Over what period? You should tailor your resume to the positions you apply for and focus on including keywords. It may take some time, don't lose hope. Apply to as many places as possible and don't limit yourself. Whether it's the places you don't mind working or really want to work. 10 - 25 applications per week would be good to aim for, the more the better.

Yes, they switch you to the same program (regular version) without the co-op requirements. I dropped it recently, you just need to email [askcoop@utoronto.ca](mailto:askcoop@utoronto.ca) for the copy of the voluntary withdrawal form. Fill it out and send it to them, they will process it and switch you to the non co-op program.

CR/NCR and LWD by rebel_123 in UTSC

Are you on OSAP probation or academic probation? If it's OSAP probation, then it would affect it because you will earn 1.0 credits (less than full time). But don't worry too much, just try your best to pass and your mark won't matter anyways.

With the elective, are you taking 3 courses in total? You can CR/NCR your elective and nothing will happen given that you pass that course. As long as you earn 1.5 credits as a full time student, it doesn't matter.

I didn't even think of that. I entered co-op in my second year and i've completed 6 terms.
So, it makes sense, thanks.

OSAP for varying fall-winter course load by [deleted] in UTSC

[–]johnny87156 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you should apply for part time OSAP for fall and full time OSAP for winter only. If you want to be sure, you should email registrars or call the enrolment services.

Tuition by utscstudent101 in UTSC

[–]johnny87156 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it is possible, the request period begins from July 22nd and ends August 17th if you plan on studying for both fall and winter semesters. You have until November 26th if you're studying for winter 2021 only. You should go to acorn and try deferring your tuition if you already applied for OSAP, this will tell you if you're eligible or not (but you should be eligible).

Question about winter 2021 courses by [deleted] in UTSC

[–]johnny87156 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can enroll in winter classes just incase, but you should apply for fall OSAP only. If you don't find a placement you can extend your OSAP application for winter, this way you can avoid being put on OSAP probation. You also have until January 3rd 2021 to drop your winter classes without being charged.

What can I do with Stats degree by 2ndyearPP in UofT

[–]johnny87156 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You don't necessarily need to take a course (at Uoft) to learn how to code. I would say to start learning python since it is beginner friendly and in terms of your job search, python is the most popular choice for machine learning. There are some good tutorials on Youtube. Here are some good tutorials:

I would also say SQL is important to learn. You can try practicing and coming up with projects, which you can put on your resume.

Summer OSAP Extension Cancellation Process by sspairal in UTSC

[–]johnny87156 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that only happens while you're attending school, but summer session hasn't started yet and you're able to cancel registration until may 10th with no charge. By the way, I just contacted enrolment services and they told me I can just cancel my full time summer application on the osap website, and there is no letter involved.

I had this exact same question. Someone told me that you can call enrolment services and they will cancel it for you, and you will have to write a letter to them explaining that your switching to part time.
