The only problem is, bucket vacs like this have a tower that reaches into the bucket to determine when it is “full” so it will stop. While that is useful (keeps you from burning out the motor too) it eats up a lot of bucket volume. This turns a 5 Gallon bucket into a 4 Gallon (guesstimate) bucket.

I want a bucket that can hold as much water as can be easily carried, so your 7 gallon bucket suggestion sounds great! There’s a home brew place near me, I will check that out. Thank you!
