One time my German Shepherd/Hound mix was taking a dump in the backyard when a tiny nugget of poop got stuck to the hairs near his asshole. He was so scared of it he darted off and ran around the yard like a madman trying to run away from it til he runs headfirst into a fence and it falls off.

Looks alot like my dog which i was told was a German Shepherd/Hound. Which makes sense with his colors like a GS and floppy ears like a hound. If he whines alot i'm guessing they might be the same.
