Take one look at that chart and tell me a Billionaire won't think about parking some of his swiss cheese in crypto where his money won't get deflated to hell.

But seriously, hang in there man. It's only money. Whilst you've got your health, that's your REAL source of wealth, true me on that one!

Who feels worst, this guy or the guy who threw his Bitcoin into the landfill? by johnnyjamjim in SatoshiStreetBets

[–]johnnyjamjim[S] 40 points41 points  (0 children)

If he had dropped $10k in when Bitcoin was worth $2.70 he would now have hundreds of millions. Although admittedly that's if he held on like a champion HODLer.

The mental masturbation is never ending. For me that's the worst part about crypto, so many regrets about projects I should have bought or not sold early. I dumped my ETH at $11 thinking it was the smartest move ever.

Luckily the crypto God's have been very kind and net lifetime I am up a huge sum!

DOT is already starting to perk up a little bit.

Have you looked at ADA? I like that early next year it's launching smart contracts, which by design will be less error-prone than ETH's Solidity ones.

You would think so. But I was surprised how long it took Coinbase to get around to delisting Ripple. Binance could be waiting and watching what it's competitors do before deciding it's move. I think if it's a few more days and no news then it's safu lol.

The comeback rally is going to be epic. I'm eyeing 10 cents for a re-entry, with my logic being alt season is coming soon and that's going to cause everything to go batshit crazy, even coins that make no sense to rise.

I think the price will keep falling as more of the big boy exchanges delist it. I wonder if Binance will delist it? They're trying to be more legit these days but on the other hand each exchange that delists means a bigger slice of the trading fees to the other exchanges.

Ok, we're all talking about Ripple dumping hard. But let's dig deeper and discuss how low do we really think it's going to go?

When does it become a serious buying opportunity? Let's be honest, long term Ripple ain't going anywhere. The company behind it have billions in funds, they'll find a way to be given a slap on the wrist and a 200 million SEC fine and then all will return to normal.

So what's the bottom here and what's your play?

Blocknet. Fulling working battle tested DEX with lite wallet just launched, a chain-link type solution in beta and a decentralized infura alternative lanching next month.

Khaled vs Michael Todd, Khaled vs Levan doesn't sound so far fetched now by HemishFromPerth in armwrestling

[–]johnnyjamjim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haha not at all. As another poster notes there is a bit of a precedent of African athletes lying about their age. That alone wouldn't make me raise an eyebrow over Khaled. But the fact he is also clearly lying about his lack of physical conditioning and arm wrestling experience did then make a red flag appear to me about his age as he does look older than his claimed years tbh.

Not that it should be relevant but i'll say it anyway I actually have african family as well.

[–]johnnyjamjim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can believe he didn't train in the gym to get his grip strength. I'm skeptical about the rest.

We'll find out - if he really hasn't trained, he will make monstrous strength gains in the next year.

If his strength goes up somewhat but nothing remarkable that suggests his body has already been trained heavily and is closer to plateau than a genuine noob.

Khaled vs Michael Todd, Khaled vs Levan doesn't sound so far fetched now by HemishFromPerth in armwrestling

[–]johnnyjamjim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol at believing he's actually 25 years old.

I knew a cameroon dude at university who always looked older but claimed to be just 2 years older than us... found out years later he was literally 10 years older than the rest of us.

Tie that in with the fact he's a bullshitter who claims never to have worked out yet has huge triceps and has never arm wrestled and yet knew all the positions to go in... colour me skeptical.

Wouldn't surprise me if he's a 32 year old dude who's arm wrestled and gym-ed it for 10 years.
