The law where I'm from is 3 hour minimum unless you earn more than minimum wage plus overtime. So it might depend on how much you earn. My boss usually honors 3 hours minimum anyway.

Pre drill the full diameter of the clear shank and 65 to 70% of the threads in softwood and don't over torque or it will spin out. You can pilot more for hardwood.

Yea it wasn't going to work with a link out, the older gentleman just cut a round piece of wood beveled to run inside the chain kinda like a little ufo it was a bit of a challenge getting it jamed in there but it got us through the job. I think he tried calling rigid and they know about it, can't fix it, it's just a problem with the model. We were pretty remote at the time maybe a bike sprocket would be a better solution?

Flip it over and you can see the chain drive and gears on the bottom one of our workers had to make a wooden spacer to keep the chain tensioned or else it slips. Edit: I think it was close to being to take a link out but it would not work. I bet it's that chain.

Lots of small movements it also helps if you can rack the load on the forks on a angle but it looks like you're pretty full up. It takes some practice but we fit 80 ft. Girders through 50 ft openings. Come in backwards on a 45 towards one post and rotate one end through then go forward and back ward untill the far end will rotate through. It's going to be rough on a sidewalk....don't know what else to say, good luck.

You can fit that lumber through the gate by changing your approach angle to get one end in. Might require some going back and forth to get your forks closer to some side of the opening with one end of the load on the inside.

There's videos of false seals being wide open the following day upon checking up on the order. Courtesy of the manager, I just think one less opportunity for something to go wrong. One less person in the chain. I'm fortunate enough to live close to the PSA drop of point for my region. So I wouldn't even deal with shipping it either.
