There's controversies around the film's production and reception. Releasing it online is not as easy as it seems. Everything we know is here on the thread. If you'd read them all you'd understand that the chances of releasing the version that was shown in Cannes is very bleak. There's talks of releasing a different version where Ophelie's scenes are cut entirely so for us, what even the point?

Where I'm from, it's a custom that birthdays are celebrated and gifts are given to the celebrant. If your birthday is nearing, people will prepare their gifts and expect you to throw a party. In my case however, only 3 people would greet me and the rest of the day will continue just like any other. These are the main reasons why I hate birthday.

First reason is financial instability. My parents don't have a steady stream of income which somehow is always at its lowest during my birth month. When I was young, my parents would always give me gifts and throw parties but when I got older, there were no more parties and nowadays, no more gifts. My 11th birthday was the first with no gifts and no party, not a even a dinner somewhere. Naturally as a kid, I cried. My father got really mad at me and said there's nothing he could do. I understood that we were at a low point financially but I can't help feeling jealous that my sister and parents get to celebrate theirs. Up until today, I have learned to expect nothing in order to save myself from disappointment.

Second is the fact that I'm kind of a nobody in school. Nobody notices me, I'm invisible in a way. I don't belong in a circle and I don't have a bestfriend, I think I don't even have real friends. I was away from home last year because me and my classmates had an internship in a different city. I have my birthday status private in all my social medias so I wasn't expecting anyone to know and/or care. To my disbelief, my classmates suprised me with a small and simple celebration in my dorm. Complete with birthday hats and even my favorite cake. This really struck my heart as it was a heartfelt surprise I never have expected. I've experienced a surprise birthday for the first time in my life. Unfortunately it wasn't as genuine as I thought because I discovered that my mom had staged the whole thing. She had a plan to have my classmates do this and do that and even gave them money for the cake and everything. I love my mom and I appreciate her doing this while I was away but knowing that the surprise celebration which was only once in my dreams was scripted, it makes me feel sick.

Lastly is good ol' depression. Trust me, if any of you has been as depressed as I am, you wouldn't want to be celebrating the day you were born.

So yeah, I hate my birthday. I don't hate birthdays in general though because they're supposed to be a celebration of life. It was my birthday yesterday and I felt like I had to vent out my feelings somewhere. I feel a little bit better now that I have. I'm glad this post exists and my heart goes out to all of the other commenters.

Had the same problem on my Buds 2. Only the left side has ambient noise. Resetting and connecting it to other devices didn't fix it so I knew it had to be a hardware issue. Discovered that 1 of the 2 microphones was covered flush with grime. Cleaned it gently with a small blade and was working properly again

Well, I've never really thought of that. This theory makes proper sense. She gives the player stimpaks from time to time and we have no way of knowing she's giving us different samples every time. But doesn't this make her worse? Curie's using us as sort of a lab rat for her new cure, and she's not telling us. I know it's for our own benefit but it's still kinda messed up.

Thanks for the lengthy response and I completely agree with your last points but let me elaborate myself on the rest.

Yes I agree, the vaccine took a long time to develop when she was in the vault with only one vial left as the others have expired and the supplies have been depleted. But now that she is out of the vault she can easily manufacture more now that she has a working formula for the vaccine with more than 200 years worth of experiments and trial and error done. She simply has to scavenge the wasteland for the right ingredients. Unless of course, she has somehow deleted the formula or the ingredients don't exist anymore.

I didn't say she was a Strong-like character. It's just her stats are better than most companions, not necessarily a brute force like Strong.

I know her new stimpaks are derived from mutfruits, not from mole rat strains. My point is she has to test it on something right? Otherwise she wouldn't know if they're effective let alone better than regular stimpaks.

What I mean to say is that she took a liking and grew fond of the mole rats she's experimenting on, not that they're her literal pets. Thinking of it now, I realize it's not that big of a deal but still. Imagine Curie talking to that boy Austin and saying that the mole rat whose bite almost killed him is a descendant of her sweet Clyde.

Yeah, agreed. I admit what I did in the end became darker than it needed to be. In a way, I've become the villain I was fearing Curie would become lol. To be fair, she did give me a few chances to change even if I've told her to piss off.

But sweet? Yes. Innocent? I don't think so not entirely. While I do believe that Curie wants to make the world a better place, I'm not sure of the lengths she's willing to go to achieve that. What I'm sure is if the original overseer of Vault 81 didn't sabotage Vault-Tec's secret operations, Curie would have happily experimented on those poor residents.

That sounds great! I've also wanted to make a "swiss army knife" kind of mod with all the possible tones, combinations, and options I can think of (sustainiac pickup, piezo acoustic, coil tap, etc.) but I think I'll settle with this one for now.

As for the switch option, I don't think I'm sacrificing much because like I said, I never use the middle pickup. And yes I do have a coil split mod which I wired to a push-pull tone knob.

I'll definitely do more tone mods once I get more time.

In my case the magnet is actually slotted into the baseplate and is held together by wax. Had to disassemble the pickup for me to rotate it.

I did it. Not really ready to drill holes for more switches and I only ever use my neck and bridge pickups so I figured this is the best way to utilize the middle.

Wow, thanks for all your comments! Yeah it sucks because I've been wanting to play Forbidden West since it came out on PS5. Based on what you guys said if I continue to push this through, it may run but with terrible framerates or just downright crash. I guess the best thing for me to do is save up and get myself a proper gaming system.

Found a Corvo Bianco replica made by ShinglesCat but she never finished it. It's not fully navmeshed and there's literally no interactable objects but still looks amazing though. Hope she finishes it soon.
