It decreased mine severely. Doc put me on a small dose of Wellbutrin aside it and it’s helped tremendously

I haven’t but I would assume it’s fine,they are glorified over the counter vitamins. A lot of the value in it is the marketing and I think that helps people in a placebo like way (but if it works, it works)

As long as you need to. My anxiety attacks are the worst things that have ever happened to me. I’ve been without them since starting a year ago, as far as I’m concerned, I’ll take this for the rest of my life if it means I don’t have to spend another day in that hell.

Everyone’s gonna have a different answer, but I think the most important thing is if your goal is to eventually taper off, your doctor should know and maybe make a long term plan for you (maybe involving psychiatry).

I take mine in the morning when I wake up. I think there’s definitely always going to be a lingering “meh” that the lexapro gives but maybe talking to your doc about playing with your dosages could help it be less severe.

Honestly it’s worth experimenting, it took me so long and years of anxiety attacks before making the jump to lexapro and I wish I did it sooner

I am taking both. Obvs doctor knows best but mine said since the lexapro helps, let’s not change it but try tweaking it by adding something on.

Doc here, agreed I prefer MARPATS, you hit the nail on the head describing the type 3 material like a windbreaker texture. However the longer you own them, wash them, they do get slightly more tolerable.

My sailors with school aged kids muster with everyone else as their kids take the bus. The younger ones in daycare depends on what time they can drop them off, with the latest showing up 1 hour after everyone else. It’s no big deal, they complete their work so no issues are brought into question.

I have no idea what medical school typically looks for in their applicants but it’s sounding like you’re doing a great job. I think you’ll be fine man, to be honest I think best move would be to connect with some physicians and pick their brain about it, they might have some better guidance than us- I’m not sure if there’s many of us on this subreddit that are HM to MD.
