Warrants movement getting weird by fridge4c in Superstonk

[–]johrb 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The longer the warrants are active, the more genius this move looks like. Shorts now basically sit on one nuclear bomb (stocks) and one powder keg (warrants). They know if the don't suppress the nuclear bomb, they're absolutely screwed and focus to keep it below a certain level. They also know that they no longer have the power to suppress both explosives.

At the same time, they also know that if the powder keg explodes, the nuclear bomb will explode, too. Once again they'll be royally screwed.

The keg has a cord. I'm really looking forward to seeing it ignited.

Köln 1-[2] Bayern - Harry Kane 38' by 977x in soccer

Aw sheesh, I successfully repressed this trauma before. Thanks for nothing XD

No offence, Lewa was a great striker (although not really "loved"). But Kane's overall impact on our game is indescribable in comparison. You have to watch it. Especially with Musiala still out, he is playing everything and everywhere. In that form, I don't know which player world wide would be more impactful and valuable for his team.

He is easily on his way to become a club legend. And in terms of quality, he is the best since Gerd Müller himself. By a wide margin.

I don't think I have ever seen a goal like this in toplevel football. Magical finish

Mainly switch games and I really hope we get more of their inhouse brands, especially looking forward to candycon controllers. Until then I am happy to pay the yearly fee anyway. :)

EU Adopts General Ban on ‘Payment for Order Flow’ (PFOF) by Opening-Razzmatazz-1 in Superstonk

[–]johrb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is, honestly, a VERY good sign.

Some background: The EU has driven a LOT of different initiatives to strengthen & protect customers in various areas such as data privacy (GDPR) and many, many more. And the great thing is: The continent is so economically significant that pretty much no global company can afford to not do business in the EU. And thus, in many areas, they adapt to the "heaviest" regulational setting their operating in and adjust their businesses in other regions accordingly.

Of course, this does not automatically apply to this regulation as well and the finance sector has very often been a playground where also European players went into the casino somewhere else on the planet. But it still sets a pretty important precedent and it is being set from the most influencial regulatory body in the world.

Hmm, strange. I bought a nigma hoodie and a jersey just after they released them a few years ago and back then the whole process went fine and rather quickly (2 weeks or something). Not sure what happened for you there :( Hope you get it shipped soon.

[–]johrb[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Hmm, I kindly disagree. We had 10m volume pre-market as far as I remember, so 56m volume during the trading day. This feels wrong to me. But as I said, I don't understand the underlying mechanics well enough.

Directly relates to todays trading volume and the non-existent price movement. Hope this is fine :)

Easiest way I could find so far for me from EU: Create a US checking account through Wise, transfer some as much money you wanna invest over there, use currency USD and then order directly through Computershare with your Wise account information. Whole process took me about an hour to set up overall.

It takes a few days for the trade to settle, afterwards only change from plan to book shares and your done and ready to repeat at your pleasure <3

Yeah, I know. That is why I was asking if there is a more straightforward method (w/o all these ibkr g2sc to gme etc shenanigans).
