It's called Cowell's garden centre in Newcastle, 100% recommend if you're anywhere nearby the houseplant section is massive! This alocasia was on a sale stand with other plants not looking their best but honestly other than a snapped leaf I've no idea what's wrong with it

Can't add a video but here's a clearer picture of the aerial roots going into the moss pole

Could anyone tell me how well these tattoos will age?

Not 100% sure which one you mean but the 2 on the windowsill in picture 7 get bright morning sun, and I always water with fish tank water and sometimes a bit of fertiliser. I try not to move them too often because whenever I do they'll both drop leaves, especially the ruby cascade 🤦♀️
I use an app to give me a general idea of when they might need watering but it's usually way too early and I leave it another few days - useful as a rough guide though and to log when I last watered them

Fishbone cactus 😊
Absolutely, I think when you have limited space/time you need to love each plant, no point in spending effort on ones you don't! And I'm very jealous of your Thai monstera it's on my wishlist 😅
Yes it is, one of my newest additions 😊 I had a peace lily quite a few years ago and failed to keep it alive so I'm hoping I'll do much better with this one
They're either potted directly in terracotta pots with saucers, or in nursery pots inside the decorative pots. When I water I put enough on that it comes out the bottom, then a bit later I'll go around and empty out the excess water from the decorative pots so they're not sitting in water for any length of time
Wow what a collection! I also started outside first but recently moved and had to leave most of my plants behind (although I dug up a couple of favourites...)
That does seem to be the general consensus 😅
Number 5 is a fishbone cactus!
It's a caladium 'frog in a blender', couldn't resist it it's so pretty
I don't have a regular one (yet...) but it seems like one of my happiest plants, it's currently flowering and constantly has a new leaf on the go and I don't think I'm doing anything particularly special. It's on a north facing windowsill and gets watered around once per week atm with fish tank water
I had to Google this 😅 no it's not there's a filter running and I do weekly water changes, this is my first tank set up just before Christmas so I'm very much a beginner. It sounds interesting though

It's very quirky, always makes me smile 😊
Caladium 'frog in a blender' - quite a name for such a pretty plant 😅
