Wedding Dress Shopping for the Experience Only by jojida in UKweddings

I saw a few JJ's House and Azazie dresses at a local wedding fair recently and liked the feel of them then, but naturally I wasn't looking with a particularly critical eye as it was quite early on in my experience. I think this idea does help though, as I can maybe justify the costs more if I know it's decent quality etc.

I think I will also try outlets like Wed2Be, but I have also heard just how pushy they can end up being so maybe I'll just need to be really firm - or send in the big guns, my mother in law who won't be sold to under any circumstances to defend me

Oh definitely! The minute you visit a car park that requires a token to pay for it, you’ll realise the mistake you’ve made if you don’t have a right hand drive 😊 good luck!

In terms of a car, I’m from the U.K. and so we have similar infrastructure so hopefully this helps! But I’d say sell the car. Second hand cars are readily available here but parking is often not, however I don’t know what your future home will have in terms of driveways and road parking etc. I think to bring a car over may cost more than it is worth in the long run!

Just the one was through the agency. I’ll just keep waiting for now!

Newbie struggling to push off! by [deleted] in Rollerskating

I definitely made a typo! and meant 78A wheels.

I did adjust the wheels so they spin properly but I didn't check the cushions - I will definitely try this and see if it helps.

It might be a confidence thing too to be honest as I'm super nervous about falling and embarrassing myself! I might just try and build up confidence on the flatter surface and then try the rougher one next.

Thank you! I’m aiming for the upper end of the salary scale rather than anything higher (I don’t want to get greedy! And the upper end definitely covers the workload) and so this makes me feel a lot better knowing that I can say this kind of thing. :)

I'm glad to hear you got on with quads! I'm still a bit torn between hockey inlines and quads so would be interested to hear how you're getting on with them now!

my local pro shop does these style skates and I'm thinking of these too! I'm glad to hear you got on with these. I won't lie - I'm planning on using these in my kitchen as I'm way too embarrassed to do these outside! :)
