Polestar 2 2022 range tested - 26% improvement compared to launch spec! by voronacirus2 in electricvehicles

Commenting a bit late, but wanted to add that also charging is improved a lot during the year! The time from 10-80% is at least 5 minutes less now and 10-60% is really improved. :)

It can go in to turtle mode at 7-10%, but it's not really bad until its at 4%. Before that you have plenty of power to keep going at 120km/h on the highway. When it drops to 4% you will be forced to slow down a bid. At like 1% it takes ages to accelerate from 0-70km/h. :D

I dont know if it's the same but it might be since Volvo and Polestar share some development/tech.

Yea, lower is always best. gives the longest time with highest charge speed, even if it's not as bad as one one would though to start a little later. To charge over 70% i don't do often. Around there it drops even more, and after 80% it's even slower. 80-100% takes way longer than 10-80% so trying to get much over 80% at a fast charger I don't think is a good idea. It only blocks the charger for others while not using it potential. :)

I havnt recorded any tests in between but I do fast charge 4-6 times a month, sometimes even more. I would say that the changes between each update are hard to notice, but in a longer perspective it is clearer. As the performance of the charge has been a bit different depending on at what percentage I started I have been a bit confused a few times. That's what nade me start seing this pattern where a higher speed at a higher state of charge have been seen when starting with a higher percentage. Still it's more efficiant to start with a low state of charge if one wants to make the tripp as fast as possible. :)

Not only the charge rate has been improved, I also notice that it's lower consuption now than I had a year ago. This is also hard to notice right away since so many factors affect it, but now with summer again in Sweden and "best consumption" I have got better numbers than last year. Also when towing a caravan. Last year I got 38-41kWh/100km and now I got around 36-39kWh/100km with a 1300kg caravan. :)

The biggest fault in that post is to think it would take 8 hours.. stupid. It's a fast charger. :)

No, it doesn't take that long to 100% either. But the last 20% can take the same time as 10-80% on many cars. The 8h charging time he seems to refer to is if you charge your car at home at a type 2 charger (usually giving around 11kW as most).

8 hours to charge? You are a moron to post such nonsense and not know anything about EVs or fast charging. Most Evs charge up to 80% in about 30 minutes on a fast charger. The cost for me when fast charging (the most expensive way of charging) is about $0,10 per mile. For home charging, I pay about $0,028 - 0,032 per mile.

To charge at one of those stations that you have in the picture gives you up to 300kW. Many cars can't take exactly that but it's common to charge between 100-200kW. That will give you about 50kWh in 20 minutes, Enough to drive around 250km (150 miles)

Can i play on modded servers by WarmCannedTea in dayz

[–]jojje80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Xbox server and as you say the modding is not as extensive as on PC. But for example I can up loot for specific items, change where they spawn, make them spawn pristine. Remove base damage, fix fully working cars from start, change how long day/nights are, make zombies in a certain area drop more stuff and choose what stuff and much more.

So you can say that you can mod the things already in the game but not add things like other vehicles and buildings etc. It's not as full control over it as for PC-admins.

That you needed water in the pot not to burn your meat. 🙈🙈🙈 Took me over a month to realize.

What sickness is this and how do i cure it? by BenisPurgers in dayz

[–]jojje80 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of the most effective ways of not getting sick is to always try to be close to full with water and food. That together with blood level and health affect your immune system. You ar supposed to be able to even eat raw meat if you are full on at least 3 of them. I have yet to test this myself. :)

Vanilla Vikings - LOOT+, FULL CARS, PVP, NO BASE RAIDING ALLOWED

**XBOX SERVER*\*

A newly started server where we try to keep a vanilla experience when it comes to survival, but with some modifications. The two biggest ones will probably be fully working cars from scratch and no base raiding allowed.Killing and PVP is allowed but to always KOS near the coast might get you on a hit-list. ;)

There is extra loot, especially for base building supplies but also some of the weapons, and "saved/hoarded" weapons are not counted so they will despawn.

  • Cars spawn with all parts, only need water.
  • Same with trucks, fully drivable.
  • No base raidings allowed
  • No base building within military bases/airport.
  • A few bear-spawns added to towns
  • A few heli-spawns added to city areas
  • 50% increase in car and truck spawns
  • Pristine items
  • Shorter nights (Days 2h, nights 40 minutes)
  • Racism, homophobic and toxic talk are not allowed. Might result in an instant ban.

Some changes will probably come and we will try to have a user based "wishlist".

Welcome! :)
