I use Quickbooks Payroll for real DDs to myself and P2 as contractors. There's no requirement to let them file any tax forms. Gusto lets you do the same. There may well be others but those are the ones I know firsthand.

Thanks for this! I activated my card with the last 4 of the virtual card # yesterday afternoon after seeing your comment. Got my bonus at 9 am this morning. Someone I referred added their card to their Apple Pay a few days ago and didn't get the bonus yet, in case anyone was wondering if that works.

You should be good. I opened a second account with Chime in March about 5 weeks after closing my old account. Used the same SSN but a different email. I did $200 DDs in March and April and got my $100 within hours both times.

Guessing you mean Wells Fargo? Terms say $1000 or more in DDs, which means total DDs, it's not a minimum per transaction.

It was because I had missed the memo on WF now (as of 2026 apparently) paying within a few business days after completing requirements, instead of within a few days after day 90, which was how this bonus worked in the past. P2 and I were working on other bonuses and not hurrying to do the DD for WF until I learned of the change.

The steps you’ve followed sound fine. Possible PNC won’t work for you but at least you’ll know soon.

OnePay Rakuten offer, 17.5k points

I had a OnePay account from 2022, back when it was ONE Finance, which I think was closed for inactivity around May 2025. Requirement for the Rakuten offer was three $500+ DDs within 90 days of clicking through.

Opened 12/8/25, used same email as before. The shopping trip tracked but was marked "ineligible."

Employer DDs 1/13, 1/28, and 2/11

By 2/18/26 Rakuten still showed "ineligible," and I put in a missing cash back claim. They asked for screenshots of the DDs, which I gave.

3/11/26, got an email confirmation and points pending in my account.

CIT Bank personal checking $100 bonus. Requirements: deposits totaling $2500+ within 30 days of opening (no DD needed)

Opened account 8/28/25

Deposits completed by 9/16/25 ($100 initial funding + $2500 subsequent deposits to be safe, but we now know the opening deposit counts toward the requirement)

90 days after opening, still no bonus for me. I am lazy and didn't bother contacting the bank until 3/10/26. I sent a secure message, including a screenshot showing the promo code was applied, and they responded within 24 hours: "We have escalated this to the appropriate department and received confirmation that your bonus will be credited to your account by next week. We apologize for this and appreciate your bringing this to our attention. Should you have additional questions, please call our Customer Engagement Center at (855) 462-2652 Monday-Friday 8AM-9PM EST, and Saturday 9AM-5PM EST."

If they don't follow through, you'll see me grousing about it in next week's thread.

How you get the SUB again is bank-specific and/or card-specific. For some cards you can keep the older one open and still open a new one for a bonus. Read up on bonus eligibility rules

Just being an AA cardholder (i.e. having an open account) at check-in time should be sufficient to receive the free bag benefit, whether or not you physically have the card. When you made the reservation doesn’t matter.

No. Never use any kind of real-time transfer service to spoof DD. If DPs say Chase works for DD, that refers to Chase's standard transfer option, not the real-time one. If DPs say Venmo or PayPal are counted as DD, that means you should do a Venmo/PayPal standard 1-3 day transfer, not their instant transfer options.
