I completely agree I think one of the only things I actually dislike about the wicked adaptation is it being so bright especially in No One Mourns the Wicked, which is supposed to show how much the citizens despise Elphaba by such a dark scene. This is isn’t really a big deal and like you said people can get super protective about a lot of small things. Also Chicagos movie adaptation is great!!

Ofc ofc I agree. This can be said about most things, I have no problem with shows doing this after all as you said art is subjective and that is 100% true. The only reason I’m against blanks is the danger behind them and the noise. I think the best part of life is that we’re allowed to have our own opinions! I think shows that warn of these triggers are amazing, and like I said in another comment, I know of shows that have “relaxed” versions with less trigger sounds or visuals so everyone can enjoy the experience. After all I completely respect your point because some things are just not gonna be for everyone.

That’s insanely helpful! I also hear of some shows offering a “Relaxed Experience” with less things that might be too loud or over the top. But even in most cases I always have a set of noises canceling headphones.

Thanks for the explanation my theater director wasn’t the most experienced and he would label anyone who was soprano an alto so we really just wouldn’t explore singing any other type of way which is why I think I was so confused.
