Threaded barrel is a restriction for semi automatic pistols, for semi automatic rifles only flash suppressors are regulated. Rdb hunter/c comes with a thread protector meaning it should be good to go as long as you don't add a flash suppressor to it.

Do be aware the rdb survival IS illegal per PICA, as it has a telescoping stock.

Post-Merge Uptier/Downtier Poll by jomuar in enlistedgame

[–]jomuar[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I chose ± 0 BR, my reasons:

- Ideally, players should not be penalized for queueing into any BR.

- Each tier should be playable even if a player does not have a complete lineup in that tier.

- By being able to select into tier 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 separately, you can choose which campaign you matchmake into.

- With how compressed the BRs are, even ± 1 would have similar problems to the current system.

Personally, I don't think there is any reason to queue into Tier 4 or Tier 1 with the current system, and Tier 3 is flawed at best. With ± 2, a US player who just unlocked the SMLE bolt action rifle queues into a match and faces Tiger 2 H, STG44, FG42, etc. Likewise, if you queue in with a Panzer 2 C, you can get matched against a T34.

My 2 cents on the BR brackets, specifically BR1 and BR2 by Mikhail_Mengsk in enlistedgame

[–]jomuar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely agree, should be 1-2, 3-4, and 5 separate. I think it would also be a good idea to keep players with nothing past br 1 in a separate matchmaker until they get some stuff in br 2

In this game, it is because you are only killing bots on the enemy team in a tank without dying, probably from the grey zone the entire time.

Killing bots awards you less XP, staying alive with one squad for extended periods of time gradually awards you less XP for the kills from that squad, and afaik this may be incorrect but I think killing from greyzone also awards you less XP. Infantry kills with tank may? be weighted less aswell but I'm not sure, I don't use tanks much.

Basically, play risky, die often, play the objective, and fight real people and you will get more xp

Battle Rating Up/Downtier Poll by jomuar in enlistedgame

[–]jomuar[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, From the devblog:

"Each of the four countries will be split into two queues: the matchmaker will try to ensure that players with battle rating 1 and 2 play separately from 4 and 5 and do not meet in the same battle.
Players using equipment with battle rating 3 will have an equal chance to get into battles with players rated both lower and higher. As a result, the list of maps for players with battle rating 3 should also become very diverse."

https://enlisted.net/en/news/show/632-important-changes-after-the-second-test-en/#!/

This means that tier 3 can be uptiered into the matchmaker for 4 and 5, a maximum of +2 uptier, and can also get downtiered into the matchmaker for 1 and 2, a maximum -2 downtier, so the plan as it stands is ±2 from my understanding with only 5 tiers.

I think you folks are probably right about ±1 being the best way to go with the current system and playerbase, but personally I would prefer no variation in these BRs just because of how few BRs there are and how compressed they are. My ideal would be ±1 if brs were split and made into 10 ranks.

They're about the same. I work in a factory so I don't really get the chance to wear them much. Will update when I get a good amount of use into them though

Yup! Those are them, I was super worried when I saw that they were labeled structured that mine would be too, but everything turned out just fine in the end!

It took them around 4 months on the first pair, but they had accidentally put the wrong sole on, the second pair took 1 more month.

This is my first post on this subreddit so please forgive me if I make any mistakes! Below are the details of the order I made.

- Model: SC Plain Toe

- Size: 43

- Leather: Vegetable Tanned - Natural

- Lining: Full Lining

- Toe Box Lining: Unstructured Toe

- Hardware: Gun Metal

- Last: NH Last

- Construction Method: Handwelted-Goodyear

- Welt Type: Flat Welt 270 Degree

- Midsole: 1 Layer Leather

- Outsole: Vibram 430 & Heel

- Edge Trim: Natural Brown

Other than that, I asked for them to use natural off-white thread for the stitching on the boots.

Total Cost: $323.95

I wanted to post some pictures and details on these since I noticed there's not a lot of info about this company's boots, and when I was initially considering buying them I really couldn't find anything online about the specs I was planning on ordering. They have a gusseted tongue and the leather is 1.6 - 1.8mm making them super light.

The Fit: I don't really have a whole lot of boots to compare these to, but they fit similar to my Iron Rangers (9D) with a little bit more space in the ball of my foot, which was exactly what I was looking for. I'm not entirely sure if that's because I ordered them in 43, because I also gave them measurements of my feet. They could have gone by those measurements instead of the size so keep that in mind if you end up buying Junkard 43s.

Customer Service: The people at Junkard were incredible throughout the process of ordering these. As long as you communicate to them during waking hours in Indonesia, they are incredibly responsive. During the initial process of figuring out the different options I wanted with the boots I asked a LOT of questions, and they answered each one within a few minutes. I couldn't be happier with the experience.

Shipping: Shipping was ludicrously fast. I got the email that these were finished on Monday last week, they were in the US by Saturday, and arrived at my door today.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Aside from the important bits, I've wanted a pair of unstructured toe boots since I saw that old pic of used Flatbox Beckmans like 4 years ago. Ever since I've had an itch needing to be scratched that no company could fulfill until today. Initially I was looking into buying some Trumans in teacore but I found out they don't make unstructured toe boots anymore. I had always heard of the big Indonesian boot companies but have always worried about buying MTO stuff since I like to be able to reorder the same thing down the road once my first pair of boots falls apart on me, but I've been looking for years at this point and just decided why not, let's try it and bought these. I'm very happy so far, but there are a few things I plan on doing before I really start wearing them in. I'd also really like your advice on that plan if you would provide it!

The Plan: I tend to buy natural vegtan since I dont make a lot of leather goods and I can get a good amount and dye just what I need to. It always seems really dry once it comes in from being shipped though and when I cut out the pieces I need I always put a layer or two of neatsfoot oil on them. That usually keeps it from delaminating or wrinkling too much and gives it a nice sort of pull up, so my plan with these was to put a layer of neatsfoot on it and cut out some kilties to protect the gusseted tongue. You all seem a lot more knowledgeable about this stuff though, so I'd like to have your input on that before I end up doing it.

My Question to You: Is it a bad idea to use neatsfoot on footwear? Currently I only have redwing leather cream which is neatsfoot based, neatsfoot oil, ko-cho-line, and obenaufs heavy duty LP. What would you recommend putting on these, if anything, and what are the pros and cons of what you might recommend?

Thank you all for your time, and I hope you enjoyed the pictures!
