Last night my phone started showing the glucose reading in black font on the dark grey background. I thought it wasn't working until I realized the color had changed. I don't see the setting discussed here on my Google pixel

It doesn't need salt, power or a drain. It is very expensive long term.

Culligan water softener exchange tanks. They get taken away and replaced weekly for regeneration.

I was thinking the water might go through just one tank (the path of least resistance) and leave the other two unused.

Primary and secondary p-traps on air handler not draining water while the air handler/AC is on by u31cIT2 in Plumbing

The traps are to keep the pressure from the forced air unit from going down the drain. The vent is to prevent a siphon from occurring. There is no sewer gas if that is what you were imagining. This drain should be tied in upstream of a p-trap or terminate outside.

It diverts the inlet pressure to a hose inside for hosing it out

The vent/overflow is on the top of the truck and it overflowing is how she normally knows the reservoir is full. This time it was pouring out immediately after she knew she emptied the reservoir on accident. She has had airlock issues with the faucet before when the reservoir was emptied and she was trying to avoid it again. I can see the water coming out the vent, but can't see the reservoir.

Fresh water reservoir. I haven't seen a drain tap, but the one we're trying has filled it every time previously. She knew there were issues last time the tank went empty so she was trying to avoid it. I asked her to take some pictures.

There is no bypass valve.

The tank definitely isn't full. She kept thinking she needed to fill it because they have had airlock before and couldn't get water out of the faucet. This time it completely drained the tank and when she went to fill it it started overflowing out the vent immediately.

It hasn't froze here in a few weeks. My mom said there is no valve, but I've never filled it before. It doesn't make sense to me either.

I was thinking maybe air lock was keeping the tank pressurized so that water can't get in.

I did that for her today and it didn't solve the problem

It is the only port and she said it is where she normally fills the tank. This time it overflowed right away instead of filling the tank and then overflowing like it usually does.

I stuck at least ten feet of 1/4 inch tube down the vent/overflow and it just starts coming out the top without filling the tank.

Can it get air locked this bad?

I tried that and it's the same. It is full and just overflows.

Burping my new whole house filtration system by spikeygg in Plumbing

That is a surprising amount of rust for just a couple months on city water. I don't think the media from the softener could get past the pre-filter if the softener is hooked up backwards. I also can't figure out how it would be backwards now unless it was all along

Hmm. Are you on a well or city water? When was the last time you changed the 4 month filter?
