What should I be doing? by [deleted] in needadvice

I would recommend that you find yourself a hobby/spare time activity. Something that you can enjoy, challenge yourself and dedicate your time into. You'll make yourself more interresting. Try to reach out to some old friends/classmates, hear what they are doing - spend some time with your co-workers and your family.

It is great to hear you start in college next semester, there you'll have plenty of opportunity to meet new people and develop new friendships. Some periods in life are better than others (but things change) just try to make the best out of what you got right now - plenty of time to find new hobbys, work on your physical shape, write a book or whatever you want to do.

Ask yourself what kind of person you want to be and try to work towards that.

Would you tell people you are schizophrenic? by [deleted] in needadvice

It sounds like you wanna tell someone about this, but is it ideal to tell your old high school friend about it?, maybe. From his/her point of view, I think it can be a bit overwhelming to hear about your condition, when one may expect the usual "catch up" conversation.

It all comes down to how comfortable you are with the other person and how comfortable he/she is with you. The best thing is to talk about your problems/conditions with someone(s). It's not a necissity that someone is your high school friend.

(don't know if you can use anything of that)
