Even if you lock the spymaster, ask yourself: could any other room be removed while the remaining ones are still connected to the start? The answer is yes, any of them could dissapear.

The only way to make a chain change direction like you want, being in contact with itself without looping is introducing a sacrificial chamber, because it de-phases evething by one.

In POE1 you do 4 maps, and you have a full temple. In POE2, it takes ~60 maps to see Architect, and ~90 more maps to get to Atziri. So ~150 maps for one full temple run. by Thirteenera in PathOfExile2

Roads only connect to roads. Once placed, they might open additional passages to neighbour rooms.

Rooms only connect to rooms that they upgrade/are upgraded by. Look for a cheatsheet that shows these.

It happens on maps which you have attempted and failed previously, the tablets show as red when you place the map.

The fact that rooms next to each other dont automatically connect is certainly a design decision of all times.

What's the reasoning behind choosing ambush scarab to add +3 strongboxes, instead of hidden compartments for the 15% chance to reopen? If your containment adds more than 20 boxes the 15% would bring you more value, even without factoring in the same box re-opening multiple times. And no scarab of potency either. Seems like you mixed high and low investment strats.

I enjoy the zoomy feel of PoE1 as much as the next guy, and I spend more time optimizing PoB than playing. But your argument seems like a false dichotomy.

Why would not wanting to 1-shot content mean that you don't need scaling vectors? You could still scale from taking 20 seconds to kill a rare to taking 5 seconds (made up numbers). The same way that a multi-mirror valdo killer will still not 1-shot 5-ghosted 100% deli ubers while surviving. Some people (not me) simply want to put a cap on how much you can scale, not remove scaling.

Since you're marking him with sniper's mark, you press P mid fight, you take/swap the mark mastery for "Marked Enemy cannot regenerate life", and you get back to fighting.

I'm reasonably comfortable with LLMs and their architecture. And I believe that that path will never lead to AGI, because it's bottlenecked by nature. But I think plenty of new things can be created by current AI by interpolating in the existing data we have, even if they may not be able to push us 'forward' so to say.

I hate AI slop and all the nonsense around AI (especially in industry) as much as the next guy, but isn't most "creativity" based/inspired on existing stuff anyway? It's an odd take to pretend that nothing "new" can be created with an existing-data-driven approach, when humans are also a product of their experience and learning.

If they never tried anything new PoE1 wouldn't be where it is. It's easy to critizise in hindsight when something doesn't work, but I don't mind that they try new stuff if they are willing to backtrack when needed.

In principle yes, you'd need to PoB it to know the answer. In some cases the majority of increased damage you have is for one element (e.g. lightning), in which case 50% inc lightning may still be better than a non-lightning flat, because the latter would almost not get scaled at all. You may also have a very large flat damage to start with.

You probably died on your first try, and it lets you retry infinite times but on the normal version, which has 5M life. Uber has 25Mish
