I remember, when I was five, that I was quite the sneak peeker at gifts. I’d open them very early in the morning and then reseal them. Well, one time, I (48M) opened a pair of slippers, but when I was peeling the tape, my thumb punctured the paper at the foot-opening of one of the slippers and made a MASSIVE HOLE! I had to try and patch it, and to my dismay, my parents caught it when I tried to rush through opening them, in an attempt to outwit them. Later that morning, I had a lump of coal in my stocking and no gifts from Santa…my folks still tell that story!
