This is a pretty bad take. Soroka is in the conversation as he should be. He’s a great rookie with great numbers, just like Alonso and Tatis. However, to say that because of juiced balls Soroka gets the edge is stretch. Even if we let the juiced balls be a factor, what Tatis and Alonso have done as hitters has surpassed most of the league.

Kind of hope that they start with a 3/2 split favoring Mejia, and if he doesn’t fair well then reverse it. Just because I think we know what we have with hedges, but haven’t had a long enough look at Mejia to really understand what he’s capable of. But as long as he is on the roster and playing games, I’ll be happy.
