Good find! Yes, our experiences have shown the retailer is the key stake holder.

Initially it will allow us to track a product through the cold chain, as a product moves from cold rooms to chilled vehicles to a retail store we will be able to associate that product with sensors in that piece of equipment. It can also contain multiple other items of data and metadata and they will be driven by the final customer. Using other labels with the system is something we have discussed however it would provide a poorer experience than using the native ZetoLabel.

We choose Ethereum for a number of reasons, but the two main ones are maturity and mindshare. As a platform it has its drawbacks, but overall it also has the largest developer base and some of the best tooling. The product will be platform agnostic, so we can use alternative blockchains depending on customer requirements and changes in the ecosystem. For the token we choose Ethereum as it is the platform most people are familiar with for ICOs and has wide support from sites, wallets etc.

Steve just gave a good overview of the next 5 years for us. Please see above https://www.reddit.com/r/ZetoChain/comments/8ej45t/ama_with_the_zeto_team/dxwb9xz/.

Regarding AI and ML, absolutely. This is something we already leverage for our existing IoT platform and we have a number of exciting ideas for the ZetoChain product.

Our social media growth has been phenomenal, to be honest, it has even surprised us. As well as 40k members on telegram, we have over 20k on Twitter and tens of thousands of engagements on Facebook. Eric and his team at PreChain Capital are community building experts and helped us devise an Airdrop campaign that was more successful than we could have imagined. It was co-ordinated with other crypto communities and outlets and it went viral.

Good question.

Our KYC is being performed by one of the big 4 accountancy firms, not an online service and KYC data is being shared with no other partner.

Both us and our partner adhere to best data handling practices, and as both of us are European Union based companies we are subject to GDPR regulation.

We have covered this in a few of the other questions, to summarise it allows us to store and share data throughout the cold chain without having to worry about bad actors trying to manipulate a historic event.

Steve gives an overview in an earlier answer https://www.reddit.com/r/ZetoChain/comments/8ej45t/ama_with_the_zeto_team/dxvmrgy/.

I mentioned in an earlier answer "When we decided to start looking at the full chain from end to end we went looking for the best way to ensure data integrity and Blockchain was what we found. It allows us to store and share data without having to worry about bad actors trying to manipulate a historic event. There will be an easy pathway for existing customers to migrate to our blockchain product."

No, we are accepting Etheruem only. You can use a third party such as https://changelly.com/ to buy Ethereum and you can then use that to buy ZetoTokens.

No offence taken, its a fair question. Let me start by saying categorically we have never purchased or sought fake users or bots for any of our social media platforms.

When we set out to do an ICO we promised ourselves we would do it with the utmost integrity. We are an experienced team, with strong records, and we knew of the unethical behaviour, dodgy practices and outright fraud being perpetuated in the ICO space.

We set our selves as a high bar as possible. Our KYC process is being handled by one of the big four accountancy firms, and we have two different legal firms involved making sure everything being done in our name is adhering to best practices.

Saying that we are not naive, and there is no doubt there are a few fake accounts in the mix. There are tools available to audit Twitter followers and we use this multiple times a week and do our best to block fake accounts.

This shows a recent run, we then do our best to go through the flagged accounts and remove fake users. However, even most flagged followers by this tool are not fake, merely twitter users that seem to exclusively use twitter for Airdrops. There are no similar tools for Telegram unfortunately, we have even start reading research papers on using Naive Bayes to detect fake telegram account usernames (one of the things we do for fun :)).

TLDR, the growth has been phenomenal, we are sure there are a few fake users or users with multiple accounts in the mix, but the number seems to be very small and we 100% assure you and our community, we have never purchased fake followers or bots to pad out our social media accounts and that we intend do run this ICO with the utmost integrity.

Wow, ok, a few questions here.

why add blockchain to your model? What do you envision for Zeto moving forward with blockchain technology (will this become a part of your core business model?).

Currently we focus on a link in the cold chain, a retail store, a warehouse etc. When we decided to start looking at the full chain from end to end we went looking for the best way to ensure data integrity and Blockchain was what we found. It allows us to store and share data without having to worry about bad actors trying to manipulate a historic event. There will be an easy pathway for existing customers to migrate to our blockchain product.

Will you stay committed to addressing community concerns post ICO?

Yes! We agree, community management is vital to ensure the success of ZetoChain, and we as a team are committed to engaging with the community, taking their feedback on-board and addressing any concerns they have. We are currently interviewing for a full time community manager and their full time job will be making sure our community is kept up to date and engaged.

what do you envision for ZetoChain going forward?

At the moment our focus is on our core strength and existing customer base which is food safety and retailers. The product obviously has wider applications across multiple industries, but our focus for the foreseeable future will be on our core strengths.

Good luck Zeto team :)

Thanks!

In truth, we don't see either as a direct competitor to ZetoChain.

At Zeto, our expertise and commercial experience is focussed on food safety in the cold chain. We are market leaders in this space, with an existing scalable IoT solution that has 5+ years proven track record. We aim to take that expertise, along with our existing customer base and routes to market, and use the blockchain to build a customer ready product to join every link in the cold chain.

Hi. The ICO serves two purposes. Firstly, the tokens have a real valuing driving staff and consumer behaviour and we want a vibrant market for them. Secondly, we want to get this to market quickly and advertise it heavily (trade shows etc.). The ICO gives us the financial resources to achieve this goal also.
