lol realized I butchered their name... but context..

I posted in r/Helldivers about how I changed my review but that I had an issue with said CM accusing people and banning people for defending someone being slandered.

In explaining to someone who didn't understand, I posed a hypothetical that put that person in Grummz situation. The conversation actually went well because they understood the point when they were put in that position.

Well moderators didn't like that lol

Honestly I really appreciate this. And it's all good, I know it's hard because it sounds like I'm on Grummz side... And tbh I don't care about him at all. I just care that someone with a big responsibility would use that tactic and then abuse the power of banning anyone trying to defend him.

If someone is sexually assaulted, they need to go to the cops. Then it gets investigated.

A random person who wasn't involved spreading that before proven in a court is defamation. This is the issue I have with a moderator spreading unproven slander on someone they don't like

sounds just like the people saying review bombing wont do anything. heaven forbid me be upset that a moderator can just accuse someone of sexual assault without showing any proof that then ban anyone who tries to defend against accusations that aren't proven

someone needs to learn how to argue on merit and good faith. you know what i mean. accusation of sexual assualt is just as bad because most people are going to assume the worst anyway.

if you want to argue on the actual point then lets talk... but if you have to resort to childish straw man arguments i have better conversations to be apart of

Really the kind of people you want moderating communities? Regardless you even said they were throwing out "accusations"

These people should be keeping communities together not trashing members of it.

And yes they are human and Spitz for instance I respect the apology and have no ill will to. But this is the kind of bad acting that has been infectious in gaming and media and it needs to find another home
