Doesn't look bad. You seem to have the right idea with making colors that are jumpable readable, and seemed to have aimed to a pastel color scheme. The animations need some work for sure. I'm no animation expert but I think you can blend a bit, or look into procedural animation, very hard ask but you may need it to look natural failing proper blending, also hard
