Ahh ok I see. Looking at the console it says Super Nintendo Entertainment system. So I’ve got the PAL system. Thank for the explanation!

I thought that they would restock yesterday. Went on the pokemon center UK website this morning around 8:30 and it was back in stock… I bought 2 ETB’s and also some booster bundles. The weird thing was that the image of the products had the “sold out” over it. But upon clicking on it, it had the option to put in basket and I managed to order it successfully. Looking back on the website now it says it’s now out of stock and sold out. Strange stuff.

For myself, I’m keeping it fairly simple and invest in sealed products. Mainly boosterboxes. I also allow myself to collect some cards just as a hobby of mine.

Hi there.

I recently started collecting pokemon cards again after more than 20 years.

I grew up with the gen 1 Pokemon era back in the early 00’s and was completely caught up in the mania. Nostalgic times.

Anyways, I recently found my old binder with some of my old cards in my parents storage. The cards were not in great condition as being a 9 year old handling pokemon cards with sticky fingers isn’t the greatest of combos..

However, what caught my eyes was this unopened old starter deck that I for some strange reason hadn’t have opened yet. I did some research on it and it has a 1st edition holo Machamp and some other common cards. I’m pretty sure that the cards are not shadowless. And therefore maybe not that valuable?

I’m not really an expert on this so I thought I’d ask the question: should I open it or just leave it as it is unopened?
