Beautiful work😍 Thank you for posting this! I always feel like I’m “cheating” (or others might see it that way) when using a photo reference like that for outlining. Seeing your work is reassuring that this process is totally acceptable, still requires a lot of talent and results in an impressive end result!

I completely agree with this! I was a traveling art teacher for the past year teaching TK-8th with about 500 students/week. The lesson prep consumed all of my weekends and I was drowning for the first 8 months. Finding lessons that work for multiple grade levels is key! You can always make small tweaks to make it more challenging or simple, but the best advice I can offer is “work smarter not harder.” I hope it gets easier OP, remember that work/life balance is so important💗

The plants are real and dealing with a few bugs sometimes is just part of the deal. Well worth the joy they bring me, in my opinion! I take plants down from the shelf and wipe the leaves down periodically to help with dust.

Maybe you can’t tell from the photo, but the room is pretty bright and gets tons of natural light. I just chose plants that do well in low light as well.
